Text Updates from Macdroid Store (SMS Program)

Macdroid Store (Macdroidstore LLC) offers free SMS text updates about your device repair — repair status, price quotes, appointment and order updates, and replies to your questions.

How to sign up (opt in)

In store: When you drop off a device or request a quote, our staff will ask if you would like text updates and read you the disclosure below. Only if you agree do we record your mobile number. Consent is active and is never assumed or pre-checked.

By text: Text START to (407) 802-4626 from your mobile phone to opt in.

In-person verbal opt-in script

When collecting your mobile number at the counter, our staff reads the following:

“We can text you updates about your repair — status, quotes, and replies to your questions — from Macdroid Store. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time and HELP for help. Our privacy policy and terms are at macdroidstore.com/privacy-policy. Do you agree to receive these text messages?”

Customer: “Yes, I do.” Staff: “Perfect — we’ll text you shortly to confirm your enrollment.”

What to expect

Message types: repair status, price quotes, appointment and order updates, and replies to your own questions. These are transactional messages only — we do not send marketing or promotional texts.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in and consent data will not be shared with any third parties.
