SMS Text Message Program

Macdroid Store (Macdroidstore LLC) sends text messages to customers about their device repairs. This page explains how customers sign up for those messages, what we send, and how to stop.

HOW CUSTOMERS SIGN UP

We collect mobile phone numbers only in person, at our repair counter at 637 S Semoran Blvd, Suite A, Orlando, FL 32807. We do not collect mobile numbers through this website, through any online form, or through any third party.

When you drop off a device or ask for a quote, our staff asks whether you would like text updates about it. Only if you agree do we ask for your number and record it on your repair intake ticket, which displays the following disclosure:

“By giving your number you agree to receive texts from Macdroid Store about your repair, quotes and replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy at https://www.macdroidstore.com/privacy-policy”

Consent is never pre-checked or assumed, and you must agree before we add your number to our system.

WHAT WE SEND

Transactional messages only: notice that your repair is ready for pickup; price quotes for a repair; appointment, order and repair status updates; our address and hours when you ask for them; and replies to questions you text us. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

Message frequency varies, based on the status of your repair.

HOW TO STOP

Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out. For help, reply HELP or call us at (407) 802-4626.

PRIVACY

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in and consent data will not be shared with any third parties. Data may be shared only with our messaging provider solely to deliver these messages.
